We created The Garage to empower and inspire visual artists to experiment, innovate, and produce their most amazing work. When we designed our state-of-the-art facility, we partnered with industry professionals and seasoned technicians to create an unparalleled shooting experience. At The Garage, we firmly believe that technology drives the creative solutions that will bring your story to life. From the simplest of projects to the most complex, our team and facilities are dedicated to materializing even your wildest ideas.
Our 5000 sq/ft Industry City studio is available to rent as a single studio space, or it can be separated into two studios: one 3000 sq/ft, and one 2000 sq/ft. Each studio comes equipped with top-of-the-line features and amenities, including its own dedicated 200 AMP 3-phase Camlock power box, a modern and cozy client area equipped with 4K OLED displays for viewing the shoot, 1 gig Fiber internet service, and much more. And if your clients aren’t ready to come on set yet, no problem. We’ve got you covered with integrated streaming services for stills and video shoots alike.
If you’re shooting food or beverages, you’ve come to just the right place. Our commercial kitchen will have everything you could possibly need. Our kitchen is equipped with commercial gas appliances and an Ansul hood, along with multiple refrigerators, freezers, a commercial dishwasher, baker’s racks, and every cooking tool or utensil you can think of. And for your clients and crew, we keep our kitchenette stocked with all sorts of snacks and drinks to help you make yourself at home.
We offer a 360 experience to help you cut down your production time and boost efficiency. We have a fully stocked prop room, suites for video editing, coloring, and effects, and production offices. We can assist your project at any stage from concept to post-production, depending on your needs.
Our studio is located in Brooklyn’s vibrant and creative media hub, Industry City, which is located along the scenic waterfront in Sunset Park. Industry City offers some of Brooklyn’s finest food, shopping, and entertainment experiences. Feel like going for a bite or a drink after a long shoot? At our studio, you and your crew will be just steps away from dozens of bars, restaurants, cafes, and live music venues. We’ve even got a fantastic bookstore nearby if you’re looking to pick up a great new read!
While our studio is comprehensively equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, you are free to bring whatever gear you want to use to get the job done. Our years of experience coupled with industry connections mean that we can also help you source specific equipment you don’t already have. If we don’t have it, we know someone that does! We have ample space, multiple loading docks, and access to a large freight elevator, making load-ins and load-outs simple.
